We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing expert advice to clients on various tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of financial principles to help clients optimize their tax situations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct thorough financial audits to identify discrepancies and ensure proper reporting.
Utilize financial software, including Sage, for efficient data management and reporting.
Assist clients with estate planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Provide guidance on asset management and private equity investments to enhance client portfolios.
Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
Write comprehensive financial reports that summarize findings and recommendations for clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice.

Skills

Experience with Sage or similar financial software for accounting tasks.
