Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Onsite - San Rafael, CA 94901

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible based on business needs)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team full-time at a San Rafael-based CPA firm. This role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with tax filings, and supporting daily accounting functions for a variety of clients and businesses. Lacerte experience is a big plus!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial statements for clients
Support tax preparation for individuals and businesses
Communicate with clients regarding accounting records and documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
Experience with accounting software; Lacerte experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
