High Profile has partnered with a prestigious investment firm to identify a driven and dynamic Tax Manager to join their Tax team at their Uptown Dallas headquarters. This in-office opportunity is ideal for a confident and sociable professional with a strong academic background and experience in financial services or investment funds.

The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker and relationship builder; calm under pressure but driven to go above and beyond daily. This individual will work across departments and senior leadership, offering insight on complex tax issues, implementing solutions, and influencing key stakeholders with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tax consulting on fund investments.
Knowledge of capital gains, interest and dividend rules in both US and foreign jurisdictions required.
Prepare both US and International tax returns.
Oversee reporting for Forms 1099 and 1042, tax depreciation, and ASC 740 compliance.
Partner with internal teams, external advisors, and senior leadership to develop and implement appropriate tax structures.
Role is cross-functional in nature with partners, accounting, legal, and operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a GPA of 3.5+
CPA required
5+ years of total experience Tax experience at a Big 4/large regional firm
Tax consulting & compliance in Financial Services
Fund accounting exposure
Go-getter personality; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, judgment, initiative, organization, and time management skills.
Eagerness to build relationships across teams and proactively drive improvements.
