Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting principles, as well as the ability to work with various tax agencies to resolve the payroll tax and payments issues

Responsibilities

Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions.
Maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Generate various payroll reports and furnish to the clients based on their need
Tracking all the tax payments and quarterly tax forms submission and stay compliant

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
Experience with payroll principals and various tax forms and schedules
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
Strong communication skills for effective delivery services and work with clients and federal, state and local tax agencies .
Strong understanding of PA EIT and LST is highly desirable
FPC certification is required
