We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. Duties

Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Analyze financial information to determine tax liabilities and identify deductions.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to manage client accounts.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes in legislation.
Provide clients with guidance on financial sales strategies and tax-saving opportunities.
Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Assist clients in understanding complex financial concepts related to their tax situations.
Perform data entry tasks with precision, including 10 key typing for efficient processing.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role within the accounting field.
Proficiency in financial software and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of tax-related matters.
Familiarity with current tax laws and regulations is highly desirable.
A background in financial sales or related fields is a plus.
