What We Actually Do
At BRW Tax & Accounting, we help small business owners tackle taxes with confidence, not confusion. Yes, we handle complex returns, compliance, and planning—but our goal is to make tax feel less intimidating and more human.
Why This Role Matters
If you love tax work but not the burnout, this could be a great fit. We’ve worked minimal overtime during tax season for the past two years—proving that balance and quality can coexist. We believe good work happens when people have space to think, recharge, and live their lives. That means no 80-hour weeks, no “badge of honor” war stories—just solid, thoughtful work with a team that has your back.
Who You Are
You’re a seasoned tax accountant who’s spent most of your time in public accounting, juggling clients, timelines, and shifting priorities. You’re confident in your skills, generous with your knowledge, and know how to keep things moving without losing your cool.
You communicate like a real person—no stiff jargon, no lectures—and you love helping clients feel seen, heard, and taken care of. You can spot a potential issue before it snowballs, explain a K-1 without blank stares, and maybe even appreciate a solid spreadsheet joke now and then.
