As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Staff/Senior Tax & Accounting Associate to join our boutique team. What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-level tax expertise — prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, with a focus on accuracy, strategy, and optimization
- Advise clients on proactive tax planning, entity structuring, and financial strategies
- Manage and review client accounting services, including general ledger, financial reporting, and close processes
- Identify opportunities to enhance client efficiency, financial clarity, and business decision-making
- Provide technical leadership on tax and accounting issues, supporting both clients and internal team members
- Recommend improvements to systems, processes, and client deliverables — we welcome innovation and insight
- Manage project workflow and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, quality-focused environment
- Ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations, GAAP, and internal control best practices
- Partner with firm leadership to continually evolve our advisory service model and client experience
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting environment
- Strong technical expertise in tax preparation, tax review, and tax planning for individuals and businesses
- Experience in full-cycle accounting, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end processes
- Proficiency with UltraTax CS preferred; ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; technology-forward mindset
- Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to professional excellence
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines with poise
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- CPA license or CPA candidate strongly preferred
