Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage tax preparation, client accounting services, payroll administration, and program management for specific Sorority clients. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to client service, and team leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage tax compliance and preparation for individuals, businesses, and trusts using Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS.
● Oversee client accounting services, including financial statement preparation and bookkeeping via Accounting CS and other accounting softwares.
● Manage the payroll function using Gusto and Accounting CS, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for multiple clients.
● Serve as program manager for designated Sorority clients, coordinating tax, accounting, and payroll services, and acting as their primary point of contact.
● Conduct tax review appointments with clients and ensure a high level of service and responsiveness.
● Supervise and support junior staff, ensuring quality control and adherence to firm standards.
● Utilize and manage workflows using TRELLO and Practice CS to track projects, deadlines, and team productivity.
Qualifications:
● Active CPA license (Preferred)
● Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a mid-sized CPA firm.
● Proficient in Thomson Reuters products: UltraTax CS, Accounting CS, Practice CS.
● Hands-on experience managing payroll through Gusto or a comparable provider.
● Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, and partnership tax law and compliance.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience coordinating services for multi-entity or association-type clients.
● Comfortable conducting client meetings and reviews independently.
● Familiarity with cloud-based accounting and workflow tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
