FINANCE & ACCOUNTING PROJECTS MANAGER
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Finance & Accounting Projects Manager supports the Finance team by executing essential accounting and finance operations projects. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role emphasizes hands‑on execution and practical problem‑solving over strategic advisory.
The ideal candidate brings strong financial fluency and a natural curiosity to understand business operations, and thrives on hands‑on problem solving, process improvement, and advancing critical finance projects. Current project focus is on AR and AP workflows to uncover and resolve pain points.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide hands-on help to the AP and AR teams, troubleshooting transaction issues, tightening processes, and reducing error rates.
• Assist with international compliance work such as sales-tax filings and other regulatory correspondence, coordinating with overseas colleagues when questions arise.
• Coordinate intercompany transaction reviews and reconciliations to keep records accurate and current.
• Maintain and help improve a single financial-model template for organization, ensuring consistent inputs and outputs for reporting.
• Gather data and streamline Board-reporting packages, standardizing slides and preparing clear summaries for leadership review.
REQUIREMENTS
• You are an Experienced Pioneer: You have 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting operations, consulting, or internal audit, preferably in a global environment. Experience with private equity and M&A—particularly in integrating acquired businesses—is a plus, as is hands-on knowledge of the aviation or aerospace industry.
• You are Financially Fluent: You have a strong working knowledge of finance and accounting, and are confident interpreting, analyzing, and building financial models and tools in Excel.
• You are Agile: You have a proven track record in project management and demonstrated the ability to manage complex, high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders through large scale initiatives.
• You are a Lifelong Learner: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required. Experience with BI tools or project management software is a plus.
• You are Tenacious: You’re energized by tough problems and take the initiative to find answers without being asked. You bring grit and curiosity to every challenge, never shying away from a messy situation.

A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary plus performance-based bonus.
