Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, a proven track record of managing complex tax returns, and the ability to provide exceptional client service. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing tax planning strategies, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to optimize tax liabilities.
- Mentor and train junior tax preparers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, resolve tax-related issues, and answer inquiries.
- Manage deadlines and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, EA, or relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation, including experience with complex tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g. UltraTax & Drake) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
