Domus Management Company is currently looking for an On-Site Property Manager for the Brand New River Rock Apartments located at 4390 47th Ave in South Sacramento!
Several years ago, a former hotel was converted into a 60-unit Permanent, Supportive Housing for Homeless Families and was called Saybrook Apartments. In 2024,, a full property rehab of the current 60-units was completed plus an additional brand-new building of 27 units was built in 2025, creating an 87-unit affordable housing community.
We are looking for applicants with the following experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Affordable Housing Property Management
- Minimum 2 years of Experience with TAX-Credit Housing compliance
- Experience with Permanent, Supportive Housing
- Familiar with SHRA Housing Regulations, Compliance, etc.
- Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing work environment
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills are a MUST
- Collaboration with Resident Services, Social Services & Case Managers a must
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc.)
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- The ability to interact with a variety of personality types
- Flexibility and ability to identify problems and offer solutions
Daily Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Interface with Residents – Communicate often and effectively with residents
- Rent Collection & Aged Receivable collection, ensuring tenants pay outstanding balances as necessary
- Completing Annual Recertification's by the deadlines
- Processing Applications and Move-In Packets for Approval and Maintaining the Waiting List (for the new building)
- Entering property Accounts Receivable and Payables (Invoices, PO's, etc)
- Entering and Monitoring Work Order Requests
- Collaborate with Resident Services Coordinators, Case Managers and Social Services - attend weekly meetings and ensure successful communication
- Work together with the Maintenance staff to ensure all work orders and unit turnovers are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform all aspects of property management
- Follow all company policies without fail
Compensation includes:
- Hourly Pay Rate between $24 - $25 per hour, based on TCAC experience
