About the Role: Accounting Leader (Manager).
Responsibilities:
- Full and Part-time accounting support staff leadership, including training, scheduling, task assignment, mentoring, and fostering professional development
- Perform and/or supervise financial activities dealing with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Job Cost, Asset Reporting, General Ledger including Month End Audit Reports and Analytics
- Multi-State/Locality Sales and Excise Taxes, including initial set-up and maintenance
- Multi-State/Locality Business Licenses, including initial set-up and maintenance
- Assist with controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments
- Refine/Improve our system of accounting records and techniques
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial status
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies
- Provide Backup for our Human Resources Lead
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth and accurate record-keeping and financial processing
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years managing others.
- At least 5 years of general accounting work which includes extensive use of an Accounting Software Program
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to facilitate Process Innovation and Improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
- Ability to manage budgets and forecast financial performance
- Familiar with creating and ensuring Internal Controls
- Ability to motivate others

We Design, Install, and Maintain Automated Fueling Sites. Our target customer is in the trucking industry, but we have Projects in other industries, as well. We work with an Alliance Partner network of Subcontractors to be our “boots on the ground” at sites across the nation. We are a one-stop shop for our customers who have sites all over.
