Part-Time Tax Professional
Location: Joliet, IL (hybrid role)

As a Part-Time Tax Professional at WRDR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our clients. You will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
- Preparing tax returns.
- Reviewing tax returns.
- Identifying potential tax concerns and ensuring compliance.
- Corresponding with the IRS regarding tax notices.
- Mentoring junior employees within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- Public accounting experience is required.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Senior Accountant (or equivalent experience as deemed by WRDR partners)
- Proficient in prosystems FX tax.
- Preferred background in partnership, S Corporations, and individual tax return preparation.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in tax return preparation, tax compliance, research, and planning.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule: This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The exact schedule can be negotiated based on mutual agreement.
Job Type: This is a hybrid role, but we are open to considering fully remote candidates for the right level of experience.
Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits; however, this role has the potential to transition into a full-time position in the future. Full time benefits include:
