Well-respected public accounting firm in Virginia Beach, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to step into a leadership role with room for growth in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Provide oversight, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
- Review and prepare complex individual (1040 strongly preferred) and business tax returns.
- Advise clients on tax strategies, planning, and compliance to minimize liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive tax experience within public accounting.
- Strong background in individual (1040) tax work is strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership, team management, and client relationship skills.
- CPA designation highly preferred.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
