Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting principles, as well as the ability to work with various tax agencies to resolve the payroll tax and payments issues
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Generate various payroll reports and furnish to the clients based on their need
- Tracking all the tax payments and quarterly tax forms submission and stay compliant
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
- Experience with payroll principals and various tax forms and schedules
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
- Strong communication skills for effective delivery services and work with clients and federal, state and local tax agencies .
- Strong understanding of PA EIT and LST is highly desirable
- FPC certification is required
