Join us if you're passionate about delivering excellence with heart. As the sole internal accounting professional at Direct2Care, you’ll own the full accounting lifecycle and help build our financial backbone as we scale. This position will report to the Chief Strategy & Operations Officer (CSOO)
What You’ll Do
- Fully manage all accounting operations: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll & related accounting, GL reconciliations, and financial statements
- Manage and process the complex billing across multiple entities to align with Corporate Practice of Medicine compliance
- Assist with cash management strategy and coordinate with CSOO on payables and cash needs
- Independently execute monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closes
- Ensure GAAP compliance and build robust internal controls
- Serve as the financial liaison to external auditors, bankers, tax and payroll vendors
- Implement and improve accounting systems and workflows
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Provide strategic financial insights to leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- CPA preferred but not required
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, independently managing the full cycle
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience with systems like QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in small-to-mid sized fast-paced companies or startups
- Track record in setting up or improving finance systems and controls
- Experience collaborating with outsourced providers
- Confident communicator who can simplify complex financial information
- Highly detailed oriented and organized
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience)
