Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the organization’s financial goals.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights on tax implications for various business transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and financial planning efforts.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts.
- Oversee audits related to tax matters, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise.
- Mentor and train junior staff members in technical accounting practices and tax compliance.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate accounting, including asset management and private equity sectors.
- Proficiency in financial software systems used for tax preparation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, budgeting processes, and financial statement preparation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
