Job Summary
We are hiring Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season. No prior tax experience? No problem—we offer training to help you get started. If you already have experience, we welcome your expertise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and enjoys working with people.
Responsibilities
- Interview clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation
- Prepare accurate federal, state, and local income tax returns
- Review client financial records, including income and expenses, to determine deductions, credits, and adjustments
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining tax matters clearly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with IRS and state tax laws, as well as confidentiality requirements
- Stay current with basic tax regulations (training provided for entry-level staff)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
