Job Summary
Ford Financial Studios is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Tax Preparers. Experience is a plus, but not required — we provide full training and mentorship to help you succeed. This role involves preparing and filing accurate tax returns for individuals while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations. As a commission-based position, this opportunity offers unlimited earning potential during tax season.
Duties
- Prepare and file accurate federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses
- Review client tax documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identify potential deductions, credits, and opportunities to maximize refunds
- Provide excellent customer service by answering client questions and offering support
- Maintain confidentiality of all client financial information
- Stay up to date on current IRS rules and tax law changes (training provided)
- Manage multiple clients and meet filing deadlines
- Collaborate with team members and management when needed
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in tax preparation, accounting, or finance is helpful, but not required. Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with tax software is a plus (training provided)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Sales or client-facing experience (a plus, but not required)
- Comfortable working in a commission-based role (60/40 split)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in finance or accounting is a bonus
Compensation
- Commission-based pay structure
- Weekly pay when clients are funded
- Top preparers have the potential to earn $30,000–$100,000+ during tax season
